My Story: The Perfect Storm That Became Lasting Image

Twenty years ago, I started as a hairstylist—scissors in hand, heart wide open. I’ve spent two decades behind the chair listening, solving, connecting, transforming. What I didn’t realize then was that every conversation, every color correction, every tear, every laugh, every “I need something new” was preparing me for something bigger.

It wasn’t just about hair.
It never was.

It was about helping people see the beauty in themselves—even when they couldn't.
It was about becoming the sunshine, the safe space, the sanctuary someone needed on their hardest day.

Over the years, I wore many hats: stylist, salon owner, life cheerleader, creative soul, problem solver, empath, challenger, connector. I dipped my toes into many ventures—real estate, resale, creative projects—not because I couldn’t focus, but because my mind is wired for more. My brain never stops dreaming, building, helping, imagining.

I thought for a moment I was spiraling. Burned out. Failing.
But really... I was brewing a perfect storm.

A storm that cleared space for something lasting.
Something deeper.

Now, all the pieces are coming together—hair, healing, design, creativity, community. It’s all part of my story. And that’s why Lasting Image isn’t just a salon. It’s a creative sanctuary. A whimsical haven. A place to breathe, to be seen, to reset.

If you walk in and the place looks different than before, that’s because I’m different than before.
I’ll never stop growing. And I’ll never stop offering space for others to do the same.
